Descriptions

The following are the official definitions to be used when describing or referencing the Argos Clubs. A number of variations are provided in an attempt to fit different character limitations.

Full version

Argos Clubs are university-based student and alumni communities established by The IO Foundation. They form part of the TechUp Community network and focus on equipping members with advanced technical skills through hands-on projects in high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, virtualization, cybersecurity and networking. Members also gain direct exposure to the technical standards ecosystem, including preparation and active participation.

The Argos Clubs operate dedicated labs, such as the PromptForge Lab, featuring virtualization servers that members can experiment with.

With a strong career-development focus, members build task-based portfolios, earn blockchain-verified certificates and gain access to The IO Foundation’s international network through internships and professional opportunities.

Argos Clubs emphasize technical excellence, standards contribution and the creation of platforms that prioritize robust user protection by design under The IO Foundation's DCDR Principles.
