## About

The IO Foundation, is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our cohort of Fellows for the upcoming [ICANN87 General Annual Meeting](https://meetings.icann.org/en/meetings/icann87/), to be held in Bali (Indonesia) from 17th to 22th  October 2026.

## Understanding the ICANN Habitat

Every ICANN meeting serves a comprehensive global policy purpose. It brings together multiple stakeholder groups under one roof to govern the Internet's unique identifiers such as domain names, IP addresses and protocol parameters. This structure exists because global Internet stability and policy must directly inform operational security and technical coordination.

This AGM meeting, you will have the opportunity to experience and learn from different types of sessions, depending on your background and interests.
