[#TIOF] TU Forgemaster 101 July 2026

About

The IO Foundation (TIOF) is scaling up the technical leadership within the Argos Clubs ecosystem by open registrations for the upcoming TechUp Forgemaster 101 Workshop and Certification.

A Forgemaster is the designation for certified Argos trainers who are equipped to teach, mentor and onboard new members into Argos Clubs. The goal of this workshop is to build a robust, self-sustaining network of peer-led trainers. It will allow individual university chapters to grow independently and scale their local engineer communities.

Understanding the Forgemaster Ecosystem

To enjoy your Argos Club infrastructure and services, every active member must pass through our standard onboarding pipeline. As a Forgemaster, you will be certified to lead new members through our three foundational pillars:

  • Infrastructure: The hardware and software that runs an Argos Club.

  • Services: The collection of services an Argos Club offers to its members.

  • Operations: The management of the club itself, from regular membership to Committee leadership.

🌐 Go Global with the Forgemaster Pathway: By becoming a certified Forgemaster, you don't just train your local chapter, you will enter a global progression track that unlocks international leadership opportunities as our network expands:

  • Forgemaster 101 (The current workshop track): Learn to master the onboarding pipeline and get certified to assist in onboarding and enrolling new Argos members globally.

  • Forgemaster 102: Level up your operational skills to assist in launching brand-new Argos Club chapters around the world.

  • Forgemaster 103: Achieve top-tier mastery, giving you the authority to independently initiate and launch new clubs globally.
