{% hint style="warning" %}

## NOTICE

⚠️ Important Scope Limitation: Please note that this specific fellowship grants full, complimentary access strictly to the intensive technical Workshops / Masterclasses.

It does not cover entry to the main IDNOG general conference sessions.

Check the [Timeline](#timeline) below for more details.
{% endhint %}

### Understanding the IDNOG Workshop Ecosystem

IDNOG serves as the primary meeting ground for the engineers, operators and architects who build and maintain Indonesia's Internet infrastructure. While the main conference focuses on high-level industry presentations, the Workshops & Masterclasses are where the actual engineering happens.

For academia and advanced researchers, these tracks offer a rare, hands-on deep dive on the following topics:

* FTTH to DWDM–OTN Transport Network Design (Next generation DWDM)
* Routing Architecture Mastery : Deep Dive OSPF, BGP, IPv4 & IPv6 Transition in Production Networks
* BGP Deployment Workshop
* VXLAN EVPN For Data Center Network Workshop
* Cybrey Firewall: Secure but Easy – Mastering AI-Powered Next-Generation Security

#### The Fellowship will include:

* Full Complimentary Access: A sponsored seat in **one** of IDNOG’s multi-day technical workshop tracks listed above.
* Networking: Opportunity to interact, troubleshoot and network with senior network operators and industry pioneers.

### Why Join This Fellowship?

The modern Internet infrastructure landscape demands a blend of rigorous academic methodology and deep, practical deployment knowledge.

* **For Lecturers & Researchers**\
  Bring production-grade network engineering back to the classroom. Update your curriculum with the latest industry best practices in routing, transport network designs and data center frameworks, ensuring your students graduate industry-ready.
* **For Masters and Doctoral Students**\
  This fellowship gives you the high-level infrastructure mastery needed to solve immediate, complex bottlenecks at your workplace, while providing a rich source of empirical data and case studies for your thesis or dissertation.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://discover.theiofoundation.org/activities/current-season/season-2026/07-july/tiof-tu-fellowship-idnog-2026.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
